Same in Leeds, probably 5 inches overnight and still falling now, settling on gritted main roads and as most people have stayed in there is not the traffic to keep them clear.

Trains up and down the east coast (London to Leeds, Newcastle, Scotland etc) are all over the shop, 38 delays or cancellations already today with trains as late in the day as 8pm already being announced as cancelled (I assume the train is in the wrong place and they cant move it).
