Fit-again defender John Stones played an hour for England against Italy on Tuesday and will hope to start his first league game of the season.
Brighton's James Milner is fit to face his former club after a month out with a muscle issue.
Karou Mitoma is expected to play despite withdrawing from international duty with Japan through illness.
Julio Enciso, Pervis Estupinan, Tariq Lamptey and Jakub Moder remain unavailable, although the latter has resumed training after 18 months on the sidelines because of knee problems.
