Hate them...always have and always will. I don't subscribe to the idea..." you should support them in Europe, they're representing England".....They represent everything that is lousy in the premiershite..... The book "stand up if you hate Man-U" has pride of place on my bookshelf... :clap2: :clap2:

They reperesent all that is bad about the game; money, greed, globalisation and the destruction of the grass roots of football.

Looks like I'm the only one to admit voting yes - all the time :)

Part of my family are from Salford and was brought up supporting em. Wasn't until later life I realised I had a local team, so they're now my second team.

The ManU fan on fanzone is a right annoying tw*t and certainly doesn't enhance their reputation.

I coud never support them but it's not actually the club or team I hate, it's the twats that follow them because they are likely to win something that really piss me off.

The year Blackburn won the championship was the only time I have ever seen one of their shirts in my home town, these people are not supporters just f***ing sad glory hunters who associate themselves with a successful team, tossers!

Don't bother me at al,l I see no reason to 'hate' them. I'm generally cheering them on due to Fantasy Football commitments, but I do OFTEN get just annoyed with peoples irrational hatred for Man Utd as I do for some peoples irrational support.

As far as I'm concerned they represent themselves, not England. I never support them - it would be hypocritical to support them on one hand and not on the other. I would never support Man Utd or Chelsea at any time, even in Europe!

Saved me saying exactly that!

I hate the Mancs as much as I love the Albion and Chelsea are now just as bad-it would be great for football generally if both 'clubs' fail in Europe.

I never want them to win beacause they are the embodiment of all that is bad about the money grabbing tossers that run top level football.

I haven't voted because there is no 'completely neutral' option. I don't care if they win or lose - that applies to the Premiership, Champions' League, World Club Championship, Mr Universe, etc etc etc.

I certainly don't subscribe to the 'you must support them in Europe cos they're English' theory (as someone as said they represent no one but themselves), on the other hand I don't automatically cheer for their opponents.

Don't give a monkeys basically. If they win everything - well good luck to them.

Admire what they have done and hating them would mean I care how they do, which I don't.

The only time I'd rather they won was when they play a German team and even then I'm not that bothered.

Must admit to enjoying watching them play when they are at their best, if you like football it is impossible not to be impressed by them.

I'd rather see ManYoo do well than the French bastards at Arsenal. I hate Arsenal, with a passion. Man Utd i don't mind, at least they've built a successful youth policy, and have bred a lot of English talent! Which is more than what happens at Arsenal, look at Sidwell, Barrett, Pennant all been shifted out. I'd rather see someone like Newcastle win the Premiership, but i hope Man Utd do well in Europe.

As I've said on here before, they're the (second) last team I'd want 'representing' me anywhere - they do nothing of the sort. In Europe, as is the case the rest of the time, they represent only their own self-serving interests (G14 anyone?) They represent everything that's gone bad in the upper echelons of football.

Would only 'support' them against Palace, and then only grudgingly - I'd still want that violent troglodyte Keane to be sent off, having seriously injured himself kicking half the Palace team.

I've never said they're not a good team however - I don't think anybody ever accuses Man U of being 'shit'. But you don't have to bloody like them for it.

Pennants out on loan and Barretts shit, what do you expect?!

Agree about Newcastle though. Proper local support, plenty of british players, a legendary england manager, generally stay local when chosing sponsers (Northern Rock, Newcastle Breweries etc) an all round big english club.

On the down side, they got knocked out of Champs League last night, and they all speak funny.
