Somewhere over there...
The match between Roma and Dynamo Kiev has been abandoned following an injury to referee Anders Frisk, which was sustained when he was hit by an object thrown from the crowd on half-time.

And know I can't believe Real, I have a fantasy team with most of their players in!

Yeah, when I see RVN banging 'em in "for England", I'm filled with national pride too.

how fu*ked off will dynamo kiev be, they were 1-0 up away to a team with ten men, and they have never won in italy before, and they will no doubt lose the rescheduled match. Surely if it was roma fans throwing objects at the referee, they should be awarded with a 0-2 loss or something.

Well although I dont support the gooners, I really want them to win it.

They are imho the most exciting football team in the world and I for one would like to see em win it. They just never seem to be able to set the European scene alight!!

I do love this time of year! The perennial debate as to whether a team of foregners count as 'English' just because the corporate headquarters is in England.

Previously I've said I'm neutral, (although I do support the plucky Scandanavian part-timers and obviously I support Deportivo and Bayern Leverkusen as they are 'us' in Europe) but last night I did let out a large whoop when the second Lyon goal went in. Gutted that Man U came back. I'm not a Man U hater, I just want to see the smaller clubs sticking it to the world-wide corporations.
