Man Utd getting a 96th minute winner when 4 minutes were added on. De ja vu?

Epic match though, cracking end.

Don't know what Hughes is complaining about. He played there for long enough, so he knows how it works...now he gets to feel how all those other managers felt leaving Old Trafford, a bit sick after a late winner.

Rio is a lucky boy, I doubt if any goal Owen got with them playing for England has given him more pleasure than that.

City celebrated for at least 1.5 mins, then there was the substitution, thats 30 secs, it should have finished at 96.00.
Goal scored at 95.26, so its all fair.

Same old same old. If they're not winning, then play on until they f***ing score.
Does any other team in the WORLD get handouts from the officials like that mob. Hughes will be going spastic, and he's bloody right to.

What a carve up.

its called a minumum of 4 mins to allow for things that happen in injury time. by the time city had finished celebrating bellamy's goal it was already 2 minutes into stoppage time. plus the carrick substitution = another 30 seconds.

Cant recall this happening as often at any other team's ground, you can see why rival managers flip about this.

Where did 4 minutes come from in the first place ? I don't recall the trainers coming on in the 2nd half. And then to add another couple of minutes on top of that as well ?

No wonder that lot are so universally despised outside of their own media-brainwashed morons.

OK - so continuing your logic about why this extra time was played - why wasn't an extra minute, minute and a half played for ManU's celebration time?

it was the right result in the end, united absolutely battered them! a draw would have been even more unjust than it was for southend to win yesterday.

Spot on! What are the rest of you on? Calling the game corrupt cos it went 90 seconds over - ridiculous! Every match we attend at Withdean when the board goes up the announcer says its a MINMUM time.
City goal celebrations went on so long that there was never any doubt that the 4 mins were going to be extended.
Whats this Manu hating obsession? I thought we were Albion fans?

90 minutes. Minimum of four minutes added, takes us to 94mins.

1.5 minutes for man city's celebration, takes us 95.5min.

Goal in 95.5min. Man utd celebrate equally as heartily. So we should have an extra minute and a half. Do we?

No, kick off, city pressed back, they play it forward whistle goes.

If you add on time for city's celebration time should be added on for utd's. It wasn't. That is why people are complaining.
