Actually, I've just found another article that suggest he wasn't the youngest! But that was even longer ago.

What prompted this was that I'd belatedly been watching Alex Dawson score for Man U in their first game after Munich, in the same team as Freddie Goodwin. My first Albion game was Crewe (Alex...), in which he scored, and Freddie was our manager.

Unfortunately, not only was my question wrong, but I'm also gonna have to "fixtures" myself.
