London to Leeds doesn't use Transpennine, does it?

No complaints from me on the Man U game being early evening KO. The last two evening KOs have been decent atmospheres (and performances).

It was more the £149 one way.

Yes I know you can split tickets. It'll need to reduce the price by about half each way before I even think about it and even then it's probably a "no ****ing way".

OP makes a very good point. At the moment to get any cheap train tickets you have to book earlier than the game time is confirmed and then hope your points get match tickets and Sky/BT don't move it. Even an hour does make a difference.

I think an off-peak return is only about £120. That's what I normally pay for a flexible Manchester to Brighton return - although different operator from London admittedly.

Edit: Just checked and an open off-peak return to Leeds is £150. Can’t see why it should be 25% more expensive than the equivalent to Manchester, but there you go. At least it’s better than a single for £149!

Hotel already booked for Leeds.

Just means one hour less after breakfast to stroll to the ground.

Saturday night's dining looks rather inviting though.

Good to know the Leeds branch of Maccy D's is keeping the Big Tasty on a bit longer

Think this means that we won't have won a Saturday 3 o clock game all season. That is pretty dire, although I appreciate we haven't had that many !!

This is why the club can shove it up their arse.

****ing ridiculous state of affairs.

Have I missed a joke ? The ticket exchange is free to list a ticket

TBH Idon't know, but I reacted to a post I believed

Handing over/giving st's to friends/family is not a thing without hoop jumping . . .and a big reason for empty seats though?
