[Albion] Man U fans in away end

There seemed to be a group of Man U fans in front of us. Southerners. Didn’t react to any of the goals although the kid with them jumped around when Man U scored. The Dad made the kid leave his Man U cap on his seat when they went to the concourse at HT so had the good grace to be embarrassed at him wearing it. Another group joined them at half time and displaced the ticket holders. Presumably Brighton based plastics taking up BHA tickets at a sold out match. I think we may have had a better day though.

There was a dad and his son behind us. I turned round and just smiled at him near the start. Pretty sure they were local. Tears before bedtime unfortunately.

Did it go to general sale ? I'm guessing that would be why. We do have a fair number of plastics in our STH group, even though we are not keen to talk about it.

I had Dale Stephens to the right of me and Sarmiento's family to the left of me going bezerk with thier Ecuador flag. They were probably gutted he didn't get on but were still jumping around going mad with us all at the final whistle.

I think it went to purchase history. I’m guessing they’ve purchased Amex tickets against…..Man U.

Yeah, I think that's it. Not sure that's how I'd like to do it, but at least they got their deserts having to slink away at full time.

Shame it was the opening fixture. Should be easy to get home tix for United after a few weeks of that.

Loads of United with southern accents on our train back to London. Currently near Milton Keynes. I’m not in a luggage rack.

The away end is the cheapest way to watch a Man Utd game I'm guessing. Not my idea of fun but...
