Got to say I was a little surprised at Yorkie and co's choice of Reid. Yes, he didn't do much wrong, didn't really make any mistakes, didn't misplace passes but I would venture that this is because he didn't actually do much in the game at all!! I remember he almost scored but just missed but he didn't do much else or have I missed something?

Anyway, other than that I thought we were ok but nothing special.
Was, obviously, dissapointed to see Jonesy dropped after he ran the game last week and although Piercy didn't do much wrong, I don't remember, other than winning a penalty and one good through ball in the first half him doing anything outstanding either.

We always do well against Peterborough so it was no surprise that we won.
Have we ever lost to them since Barry Fry was in charge? I can remember losing in the last minute at the Goldstone when Posh wore their multicouloured kit but I think that was before the fatman's time.

Oh yeah, I reckon man of the match should have been given to Roberts or maybe Cullip or maybe Iwelumo, yeah, one of them.

Completely agree, if Jonesy makes some mistakes at times it's only because he's actually trying something, as the idots behind me seem not to have spotted. Reid wasn't in the game first half, played a bit better second half but I still felt Jones did more whilst he was on, maybe Reid needs a chance to get used to a few first team games. I also didn't feel Piercy or Reid had anything more than Hart does.

Iwelumo man of the match I reckon, he did some great little knock-ons, even though he was being fouled most of the time, or Roberts - made some good saves.

i think uv either got 2 look at roberts, danny or butters 4 man of the match id go 4 roberts

The people who think Reid was MOTM will be the same people who vote for Butters as man of the season. Bandwagons, doncha love 'em?

The MOTM has to go to our most influential player, that was close between Big Chris, Chippy or Cullip - I'd go for that order.

i thought reid did well. it was nice to have a player who can pass the ball, so it wasn't just hoof everytime. the change to piercy behind the front 2 made us more dangerous going forward. although id have to go for roberts mom as well

I think the NSC group had a little to much alcohol. Reid was OK, but MOM? No. That should be Roberts or maybe Danny, Guy or Chippy.

Danny Cullip by a country mile.

Roberts flapped at a number of crosses, butters was poor (lumping it and playing Harding into trouble twice in the first half). Reid was neat but nothing special should maybe have done better for the two chances in the second half.

I wasn't drunk and I would agree with Reid as man of the match. He does give us something that our 1-dimensional play has been almost completely lacking - passing and forward running.

I forgot he was playing in the first half.

Reid didn't pull up any trees. He was ok but missed a great chance in the second half and was way off MOM IMHO.

NSC voters must have had too many :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:
