Perhaps something to do with the chairman meeting Mancini two weeks ago for dinner ?

Which was denied by their Operations bloke however Mancini told everyone what happened.

From what I gather, it was a decision to sack him a long while ago and Mancini was already waiting in the wings. I am not sure why this particular case has been given a 'conspiracy' theme as it happens a lot in football, shirley? Other than the previous two sackings at Brighton.

As I understand, some other details are:

-Hughes recently asked Steve Cook if his job was in trouble, steve cook said no.
-Hughes had to give the club £250,000 to get bellamy, for some reason.
-The date of hughes firing was pushed back so mancini would have an easier run of games to start with

Not sure how this works as a conspiracy, but it's some other factors to take into account.
