Tactically speaking - is it best if I turn up at 5pm and have a mooch around Stamner Park to get into the best parking position? how does it work in Uni car parks? I’ve never worked out a good strategy. I always seem to be in the longest queue.

From what I've observed, I suspect if you rocked up at 5pm you could park (for free) in Stanmer Park itself - there seems to be a lot of that going on nowadays.

At the Uni, we've only ever been right at the very top/back, closest to Falmer itself. I don't know how early you need to be there to park anywhere else.

I'm not sure about the Bridge as they fill by row from closet to the entrance/exit backwards, so you could be an early arrivee, yet be unfortunate in that they are at the far end of a row meaning you'll have a lot of cars between you and the exit come home time.

Uni parking is a bit inconsistent in that some matches there are stewards telling you where to park and other times there's no one and you can pick wherever you like. Don't park there for every match but often do.

If you rocked up at 5 you should just be able to head straight in and park. Then you can get food/drink at the places on campus.

Just put my car park ticket for the Bridge on the exchange if anyone is looking for last minute parking
