Isn’t the PL a sporting/business organisation made up of just 20 members with a set of rules drafted and agreed by its constituent members? The PL is saying that one of its members has broken its rules. There must have been some serious discussion b4 highlighting a litany of breaches.

This would set an amazing precedent.

It's a bit weird to charge a PL team though, while Real Madrid, Barca, PSG etc just carry on as if FFP didn't exist.

Absolutely. That and a huge fine, a transfer embargo and a ban on European competitions. These bans will last until Man City's lawyers get them overturned - which will be about a week after they're implemented. And they'll get the fine repaid. And the points re-instated. With a bonus in both cases to make up for the fact that City's good name has been besmirched.
I have a very good friend who is a City fan, he’s utterly convinced the authorities have it in for
City & only City.

Our KM is suggesting that the Citeh investigation is 'coincidentally' being launched just as HMG is attempting to bring in a football regulator....

There will be no appeal process, if they are found guilty
