Malta in these 10 years gave votes to 36 counties too. United Kingdom took the most votes from the Maltese citizens (58 points); second came Sweden with 47 points and third Cyprus with 35 points. Malta gave the least number of points to Hungary (1 point) and to Portugal, Lithuania and Moldova (2 points each)

Malta gave 12 points to these counties: once to Israel, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Sweden, Iceland, Estonia, Greece and Russia; and twice to Cyprus.

I was sat on 25-1 on that Scoot shite to get Nil points. Interestingly the best price with was Paddy Power. And who gave us the other 7 points? Yep, Ireland.

The report says that Malta gave UK 12 points as a protest against East Europeans fiddling the scores surely that is them admiting they fiddled it to!

Still think the 'political' voting aspect is bullshit. If the UK split up tomorrow then entered songs separatly as England, Scotland and Wales next year then you could guarentee that all Scots and Welsh allowed to vote in England would vote for their home countries and all English living in Wales and Scotland would vote for England which would add up to a fair proportion of the vote in each particular country. Latvia's population includes over 40% of Russians who speak the language follow the cultural patterns of Russia by watching Russian TV which is available cross border using systems which were in place prior to the break up in 1991.
