So far he has failed to make an appearance, being an unnamed substitute for all Kilmarnock's recent games. What a waste of a loan spell this appears to be.

In surprised that we've not stipulated that part of the deal is for him to play matches. Otherwise he would have been better off going to a league 2 or conference team

I was thinking the same - i keep an eye on any player thats out on loan and it seems a complete waste of time to be sitting on the bench. I know he would be very unlikely to get a start for us, but is sitting on the bench all season going to benefit him more or less than playing in the DS?

Why the hell have we got a young talented international defender sitting on the bench at feckin Kilmarnock.

Better off getting games in the DS, training and playing the Oscar way.
Time spent with Upson and Ward would be far more beneficial than wasting away on a wooden bench in Jockoland.

Could be a major asset next season. Get him back!

He seems to be going the sane way as Toby........unused and wasted.....big shame.

I guess financially it is better to have him out on loan than in the dev squad.

Has to be a loan with a potential pre-agreed transfer at the end of it. He is behind Ward (who I think is likely to stay) and Chicksen at left back and has barely been considered as a potential centre back so don't really see where he fits in for us

Apparently won "Defender of the season" in 2012 in the Latvian Top Division, how bad is that division if he can't get a game for Kilmarnock?

Can play centre back as well - so we could be thinking him and Dunk as longer term solution. Still think that may be the plan but, if not, agree with you re: unlikely to have a future here

When his loan to Kilmarnock was announced - Maxi Joins Killie on Loan - David Burke was quoted as saying that his chances had been limited due to the form of Greer, Upson and El-Abd, which strongly suggests that Albion see him primarily as a centre-back. Garcia is quoted in that article as saying that it is important that Maxi is playing first-team football, so I can't imagine Albion are too happy that he hasn't appeared for Kilmarnock yet.

Much the same as Spurs I would guess regarding Obika

Went off injured after half an hour as Killie pushed Hibs into the last relegation play-off spot but not before he made a crucial intervention to deflect a goalbound shot wide

Has wstablished himself as a starter up there. Will they bid for him or will he be back with us pre-season?

What position is he playing for them?
