Outside my Mum's house, there is a Police car involved and a car in the front garden of my Mum's neighbour, and as far as she can see they are trying to cut someone out of the car.

Shocking drivers the police. Still, we'll pay for new toys for them to play with.

Nice to tarnish the entire police force with the same brush despite only 1 reported serious accident in a long time in Sussex.....

Accidents happen, it might not even be the Police's fault. Still, some people are experts i guess.....

They say that all things come in threes so let's hope thats the end of problems. Let us also hope that any injured persons recover soon.

You really are an idiot sometimes. You obviously have no idea of the amount of driver training advanced traffic officers/ firerarms officers are subjected to. General patrol officers are also taught to a very high standard.

If I remember rightly you are a delivery driver? Brilliant drivers aren't they the white van gang!

As for you 'well pay for it comment' what do you insurance is for?

Don't understand why a suicidal person would be graded as a 999 emergency response. Each time they respond to a call with the blues and twos it must be weighed up as to whether the response is proportionate to the danger. In this case a person has been seriously injured because someone else may have been threatening to take their own life.

The bits in bold highlight where you're contradicting yourself. A suicidal person is, by its very nature, an emergency. Whether or not you agree is another matter.

Oh, no hurry then. If we hang around a bit, with a bit of luck it will be all over by the time we get there......

if someone is in danger of dying, it is an emergency, even if it is someone wanting to take their own life while the balance of their mind is disturbed.
