I must admit I did have a crush on Jenny Hanley but it’s Blue Peter all the way. Get down Shep!
"Shep, get off Petra"! Yeah, I can't explain why, but Blue Peter always seemed more 'authentic'; more Premier League compared to Championship Magpie.I must admit I did have a crush on Jenny Hanley but it’s Blue Peter all the way. Get down Shep!
Boyd evenMagpie, Tommy Boyle was cool back then and BP was for Tories and boy scouts!
If you see a single magpie, you should salute and say "Good morning Mr Magpie", that will ward off bad luck (apparently)!Blue Peter was my favourite with Valerie Singleton, John Noakes and Peter Purves.
Sometimes watched Magpie. Remember Susan Stranks. Even to this day I count Magpies when I see them because you don't want bad luck
My first crush...I'll just leave this here
Blue Peter on steroids!Wasn't fussed by either of them. Grange Hill was where it's at
Unless you see the magpie in the afternoon of course. If you see a single magpie, you should salute and say "Good morning Mr Magpie", that will ward off bad luck (apparently)!
One for sorrow, two for joyIf you see a single magpie, you should salute and say "Good morning Mr Magpie", that will ward off bad luck (apparently)!

I remember Christopher Trace. Magpie never got a look in. Commercial TV couldn't get much more than a snowy screen to my home in the sixties and rarely got a look in anyway. I was more in to Scouts and the Tories!Blue Peter on steroids!
I was always a Blue Peter fan, l even fancied Valerie Singleton. Yes l'm that old.
Does anyone else remember Christopher Trace who presented the prog in the very early days?
