Very samey and getting pretty boring now imo. Give it up guys or find some decent new material.

Never was a big fan but this is assumably a fill the coffers tour of a band past their sell by date?

Why should they find new material? They give their fans exactly what they want - a f*****g good knees-up.
I saw some footage recently of their set at T in the park and the crowd, many of whom weren't even born when Madness had their first hit, were having a great time.

I would LOVE to see them live if they did their old classics. Soundtrack to my yoof.

My mate saw them at the Brighton Centre (early this year? last?) and said they played their new stuff and it wasn't a great night.

Madstock was always top notch.

The Libertyof Norton Folgate was surprisingly good - not full of singles like the old stuff but very listenable. There was a bizarre stage show filmed for the BBC that was shown earlier this year.

Night boat to Cairo!
Suggs is a Sussex lad,so no slagging from people who don't even know who the band are-past their sell-by-date? :dunce:

Brighton factually.....
Had the pleasure of seeing them play the Dublin Castle both nights for free (new the sound man) in Camden about 5 maybe plus years ago a not so double night secret gig playing as the Dangermen. People flew in from Germany in just the hope to get in (they did not). Small club bouncing up and down mental, Far more real playing to say 100-300 people, Its soooo close and real. :drink:
