Don't shoot the messenger but one of my pals works up the Amex has just said he has shook hands with Federico Macheda. I am not ITK, just passing on what he put on his facebook account half an hour ago. If you want to see for yourself have a look here:

Wasn't he on loan at QPR and barely got a look in last season? In which case, I wouldn't be surprised if his next loan deal is a division lower to ensure he gets the games a loan deal is meant to give ..... but, I'm not sure Gus and Sir Alex are the ideal deal partners after the whole Evra / Suarez stuff. Doubt Man Ure would be short of teams keen to take Macheda on loan.

Would be truly made up if this happened. He's completely gone off everyone's radar since qpr. Quality striker. If cms goes it would surely only be if we had someone of this quality coming in.

Kiko has scored against Palace which is a good start. Don't think he ever blossomed into the player Utd thought he would. Reasonable loan but won't hold my breath!

'His too good for the seagulls ha?'

I think he means 'He's'

Sounds like a complete PLASTIC (Chelsea at a guess) so I'll go for - 'No deal' please Noel...

CMS is on the coach up to Burnley according to Andy Naylor- might be confusing Orlandi with Macheda?

His other tweets suggest he is someone with high intelligence and judgement. Someone who can be wholly trusted in all matters.

I especially like the tweet posted 20 minutes prior to his witnessing Macheda's appearance "The girl next to me fuckin stinks" or words to that effect. What a fine young man.

What I suspect would be important to Sir Alex if he still has hopes for Macheda, is that on his next loan spell he gets games. That has not happened at QPR, and only 14 starts at Sampdoria. Despite the Suarez thing, having your protege at a team who play football the right way, and who would likely get a good run in the team would no doubt be value to MU in seeing if Macheda will develop into the striker they think he's going to be.

Well we will see I guess. Like I say, I only passed it on as I saw it just a moment ago. Not claiming to be ITK or anything of the sort.

Would be pretty happy if it is true though.
