Could add some presence and passing ability?

looks ok in theory , problem is you can get away with playing odd player out of position if they are exceptional players , with us we've been undone in recent times trying to play too many average players out of position at the same time

But the only player out of position is Lynch and lets be honest he is probably our best player and his game is easily adapted to CM.

I think it would be a great idea to try Lynch in midfield but would have thought the sole reason to do that would be to get El-Abd out of the side and nearer a loan move to Lewes or Bognor.

Let's just try AND SUCCEED in signing a couple of midfielders... it has been fcuking obvious for months that this is where we needed to strengthen... Dick's fcuking stupid decision not to take Bertin back looking worse and worse every day, IMHO... pride before a fall...

Have to agree 100% with that...

Don't really see how playing two defenders (even a technically good one like Lynch, he is still a defender) in midfield and one up front will solve our creativity problem, also Whing is suspended, and Reid not match fit.

Lynch is our best defender and i would imagine has been coached as so since a early age to move him into a new position would be a short term solution and probably not the best move for his career either
