The fact 6 of the wickets so far have been caught, suggests as ever they are trying to play shots, rather than assess the conditions.
Robinson now out caught as well...

.... for 0 off 22 balls.

This was only ever a c.300 pitch against a normal Div One attack and we had to bat in the worst of the overhead conditions. Not saying that 220 all out will be a good score but it is not unforgivable.

Notts could use the 'cancel by 1pm day before' clause into effect at their Hotel soon - can't see this going into day four

If Robinson (coach) still thinks we're too good to go down, hopefully this will serve as the metaphorical slap in the face to wake the fool up.

Horsham is historically a flat wicket with a small boundary.

Notts score suggests that is still the case.

We look like a side expecting to go down at the moment.

Well, that's that then. Should be all over by tonight. We were flirting with relegation last season, can't see us dodging it this year.

The glory years for Sussex and Yardy, seem a very long time ago.

Well any-side would be doomed if the manger started saying we are going down prior to it being mathematically possible, we desperately need that traditional late run we often get, however I am struggling as to what games coming up are winnable

Middlesex away at Lords

Yorkshire home at Hove

Worcestershire away at New Road

Somerset last home fixture at Hove

Yorkshire away at Headingley

County Championship matches there in 2013 and 2014. Average of 7 innings scores = 224.

In the first innings of this match Magoffin & Robinson bowled 62.1 overs, 20 maidens, and took 5 top order wickets for 165.

Not a great start to the 2nd innings either. One down in the first over.

Maybe the smell of the Lunch was too much for Wells to take.

Wells one of the few batsmen that does not play the whole time in one day mode is gone.

Not ideal...
Quite. Wells is our one player who deliberately aims to make himself as hard to get out as possible.

All of the others mix risk and reward differently. Nash and Machan seem to play only at a very attacking run a ball tempo. Joyce, Cachopa, Wright, and Brown also like to score freely but seem more prepared to try and play to match conditions.
