After all the hefty sales that we have seen, the club has chosen not to re-invest the money that is needed to obtain good quality players capable of holding their own in the Premier League. Tonight, this policy has back-fired on them specutacularly; and I suspect a similar drubbing is waiting for us too on Saturday.

It really is about time that the club backed De Zerbi in the transfer market instead of pulling the rug from under his feet by selling most of our better players.

This is the first time in a long time that I have been shocked by our performance when we've lost a game. I'm normally one of those people that will say 'yeah but it was a good game' or 'we played well'. That was a complete and utter shambles & I was watching it, thinking wtf is going on. I just don't know what to make of that, I can't even say 'it just wasn't our night'. It was just totally bizarre! 🤷‍♀️

If RDZ is as good as many of us think he is, he will take a forensic look at this defeat, take the engine apart, find exactly what went wrong, learn the lessons from it, and make the necessary changes.

The measure of him will be if it does, or doesn't, happen again.

You got any more condescendence in you? Would love to hear more.
More than happy to keep going.

We’re in the knock out stages of Europe. Top half on the prem with an injury list like we’ve never seen.

Playing some of the most talked about football in the world and attracting talent from the world over.

Is all of that irrelevant because of an awful 90 mins? I’ll take a Luton away and Everton at home performance a couple times a season if it allows for the dreamworld we have been treated to over the last 2 years or so.

Do I think we could have invested a bit more this Jan? Maybe. But I trust Bloom, and if it that’s condescending the so be it

Amazing how being good for a year and half can alter peoples minds.

Some mental posts on here tonight

We haven’t been great in the PL for long periods this season, Forest away, Brentford home and Spurs home the only highlights for months. Wolves, Luton, Arsenal, Villa, Chelsea all took the p@ss, whilst Sheffield U, Fulham, Burnley, West Ham, CP all found ways to frustrate.

Most lacklustre performance I’ve seen since Cardiff and Bournemouth under Hughton. The players looked as up for it as RDZ seems, to me, to have been recently.

Depressing watch

Full credit to Luton, won all the 50/50s and deserved a 4-0 win, could easily have been more. They bullied and outclassed us all game.

Yup.
Reluctantly agree.
Have we been decent for a whole 90?

Guess having half a team out injured and 8 extra games can do that
