Quite a high bar for Sheffield United away first batch. Are we getting a small allocation or something?
Spurs and Sheffield Utd should both be circa 3000 tickets.

A lot of people have just been bumping up their points this season for Europe. It suggests our 3000th highest points holder is on circa 305. I'm on 340 ish - never been close to that before.

Does Bozza or anyone have a contact at the ticket office they can check when points will be added for the recent games

Edit: seems odd to have a sale on while points aren't updated

Was a bit shocked when I saw the Luton requirements.

A £90 hit first week after Christmas also.

the 381 LP requirement?
If so, what were you expecting?

I thought it might be around 400 - but that was including the Stoke points, which I'm led to believe won't be included.

Yep, son and I are very easily in T1 for Sheffield and Spurs but not quite there for Luton. Bit annoying but I'd prefer Sheffield out of the three trips anyway.

Going to be a big queuing load on the server tomorrow morning which is blatantly stupid. No idea why they couldn't have released Sheffield Utd at the start of the month when originally planned?
Same for me and child 1, as we're 5 and 8 points short. No issue with T1, but T2 is a joke.

Plus 3 games are on sale at the same time, FFS.

I'm another one who misses out on Luton by a whisker - 378 points. Also gave West Ham a miss but went to Stoke, so a shame those won't be added when it sounds like West Ham were. I'm quite shocked to discover I've fallen so far as I still go very regularly - this will be the first time ever I've not been in the top window for a game based on points.

Can't argue with the cut off as presumably it's based on pure numbers.

I do wonder about it jumping down all the way to 246 on Weds though.

The points are added ~1-week after attendance.

The points criteria for the three on sale this week will be on the basis of points pre Stoke.
1-3 working days, according to the ticketing pages. Would be nice to get the Stoke points today!

Time to do a PBOBE impression.

Stop moaning the loyalty points scheme has been in place for years and is well understood. We have acted on feedback and cracked down where required.
There are always some fans who will feel hard done by as they are just a few points under a cut off for a higher tier.

The simple answer as always is the scheme is not a closed shop and the more games attended the higher up the tiers you will go.

There have been games this season that have gone on sale to members I don't recall any complaints at that time, but games in London and those with lower allocations will always see a heavy demand.

I'm now turning my phone off as the world overlooks that this a parody post.

Now I may be talking b0ll0x but anyone annoyed that they're 'Stoke points' short should take into account that if they were added then the threshold would go up accordingly.

Maybe, just maybe.
Definitely.

The points are based on a known number of people with a certain number of points, the club won't know Saturday's numbers yet.

Yes, you're right.

I think (speaking for myself anyway) the issue is the rumoured inconsistencies with when points are allocated, mixed with the seemingly random on sale dates

I appreciate I don't have my Stoke points, but if this game had gone on sale last week (and if West Ham points weren't immediately added), then presumably I would have been in the top tier as I am within 5.

Maybe, maybe not.

There were 4,000 at Stoke on Saturday, I'd guess that a high percentage of the top 1000 or so points holders were there, if for no other reason than they wanted to stay near the top for Luton et al.

Yep - so if this went on sale next week there's no guarantee that I'd have got one with the Stoke points.

But I reckon of the 1000 or so top, most were at West Ham, and if those points were speedily allocated, that probably pushed me out. So for those on the absolute borderline, who go most but who do miss some games for different reasons, the timings of these sale dates and points allocations really matter.

I'm not saying there's an obvious solution (perhaps being transparent on on-sale dates, when points are allocated) but was pointing out that it's not completely irrelevant for people to be querying these things.

Sheffield Utd game is on Sunday 18th February.

Points for attending the game will be added (approx) a week later, so around 24th /25th February.

Draw for the Europa Leaue is on Friday 23rd February, with I guess tickets for our away game going on sale on the Monday the 26th as the game takes place on Thursdsay the 7th - so I would assume points for Sheffield Utd will count towards Europa League tickets.
