Lurching to the left

Heard plenty of warnings recently about not lurching to the left, anyone actually done this and what were the consequences??

Just last week I lurched to the left when the cat tripped me up. The consequences were disastrous as I threw a whole mug of coffee over the sofa.

not advised if walking against the flow of traffic in the UK - could send you over the kerb and into an oncoming vehicle

I lurched to the left, but then I did a step to the right, just warming up for a pelvic thrust now...

I've heard that it messes up your head real bad and you start replying to NSC threads that are over 5 years old.....
