Been given £25 to have a nice lunch for erecting a load of flat-pack furniture for someone. Any suggestions for lunch for 2. Happy to add some extra cash if needed. Can't really think of anywhere at the moment

The Bridge - Pub tukka, but way above the norm in terms of quality.
This.
One more for your list Suters Yard. Laid back and informal place to eat. Nice wine decent beer, reasonable prices. If you are looking for table cloths and waiter service, probably not your first choice.
Beach House is also very good, but rarely mentioned by the locals. I guess it can be a little pricey.
Into the Blue is my number one, but in Shoreham, but a bit cut off from the town right now with no footbridge.
I like the Beach House a lot. Have eaten dinner there twice recently and will be going back again soon. Not tried it for lunch, I think I'd eat too much which is not good at lunchtime unless I have nothing else to do for the day. I really want to try it for a cooked breakfast one weekend. Not cheap though.
You should treat yourself. It is a mighty fine breakfast.
