Yay! And we're taking that oily South African Pietersen to South Africa, but for some mysterious reason he won't be playing for South Africa, he'll be pulling on an England jersey, which seems a bit odd.

lets hope he has better luck than adams, failed in south africa and never played for england again. good luck to him if he gets the chance to play.

Well deserved for Luke Wright. Definitely adds something to the team.

If I remember correctly, Kirtley took a hatful of wickets on his debut against the Saffers, something like 6-40 in one innings and was given man of the match. Took a spanking catch as well (or was that in an ODI?).

Edit: The catch was in an ODI, but the rest should tally.

The Kirtley catch is rather lucky, he saw it late and was only able to get one hand to the ball, sloppy cricket.
Lukey is a very lucky boy, not sure if he will get a run out in a test but it will be a good experience for him....SA cricket will make a man out of him !
