After brilliant reviews from friends and family, I was excited at seeing said film.
After viewing yesterday, all I can say is, what an absolute f***ing cheese fest.
Complete womans drivel.
I now have to put up with Mrs Rambo believing that life is actually like that.
Please help me.

Agree to a certain extent Rambo. Hugh Grant played Hugh Grant, again. Typecasting throughout the film.

It's one redeeming feature however, was that it didn't end 100% happily, or 100% predictably like every f**king chick flick does. I didn't predict the guy from My Family actually pulling over there, or whether Alan Rickman would actually cheat on his wife or not.

But yes - very, very cheesy, and no - life isn't actually like that.

It was exactly what I thought it would be, no surprises, OK feel-good stuff if that is what's required. It isn't a man's film, and those that go will have been dragged there under duress.

Mrs Glover wanted to see it and I wanted the see Seabiscuit. We went to see Love Actually naturally !.

I thought this is going to be more paining than a visit to the dentists and slumped on my chair with my arms folded just imagining the thrills and spills of Seabiscuit I was missing.

I might as well admit it as you all think I'm a girl for liking the new Will Young single anyway that I enjoyed it a lot. Ok so its totally out of touch with reality and most people's mundane lives but it was warm and funny and moving in places and whats wrong with that.

Need less to say after 10 minutes of leaving the cinema Mrs Glover and I were arguing and I was cursing the motorists all around me so life was back to normal !.

I went, enjoyed it. Told the bird I was with it wasnt quite realistic and she shouldnt get any ideas above herself. Had a few actors in it I liked. Got no problem with seeing a film like that or with liking Will Young's number 1.

I was sickenly sweet wasn't it?
Did pretty well on the nipple count though

And I did get a good laugh from the guy going to America to pull birds. How did they manage to steal my plan?

I'm afraid to say it's what i call a 'trailer film'i.e ALL the good jokes are in the trailer to get you to go and see it.Bridget Jones' diary was another example of this travesty.Go and see ELF:clap2:

Sea Biscuit was absolutely quality, Gareth. I recommend it.

i agree for all the hype saying its better than four weddings, thought it was a typical richard curtis film, fuckinh hugh grant gets on my tits, the only other film i liked him in was "about a boy"
i thought if you took a couple of the love stories and made them into seperate films ,it might have worked like the colin firth story. not that good really,

Quality quote in Seabiscuit as the jockeys are lining up in the stalls (sorry, don't know their names):

Jocky to Seabiscuit jocky: "Arn't you a bit small to be a jocky ?"
Seabiscuit jocky: "I'll be looking even smaller in a minute"

For a chick flick I actually enjoyed it. Might have been the fact that I had free tickets to see it three weeks ago though. I could have strung that sickening pairs of kids at the end however. Bloke who went to the States was quality as was Hugh Grant as the Prime Minister who told the yank President the UK would not just be the US's lap dogs, certainly isn't real life.

Loved the fact that a lobster was in the kids Christmas drama production, strung a real cord with me because I have included bizarre scenes and characters in pantos and nativities I have done with previous classes. Nothing dodgy before anyone says anything.
