I never pay to park at Gatwick if picking somebody up I always sit in McDonalds car park with a coffee and tell them to ring me once they are through customs then pick them up by the drop off point. Even if they are coming into North Terminal it is only a couple of minutes for them to wait.

I have grown out of either parking up at exorbitant rates or driving around and around waiting for them to jump in, all slightly pointless to me.

Cabs seem to be good value, they monitor flight times and delays and pick up at arrivals straight to their car and home in no time, £30.00 no problem.
