They are really well set up hard to break down and counter really well with pace. Doing a really got job overall.
I agree to an extent with RDZ in terms of patterns of play we were actually very good, it just broke down once we got to the 18 yard box. Some of that was our own doing some of that was good defending and organisation. I think a point was fair tbh

I thought he got the game plan bang on. It could have gone either way. Not convinced he’ll do much better at Wolves and not sure he has a unique approach, but seems solid.

Only one defeat in their previous five league games …only three points behind us …..a much better and organised team than the one who came to the Amex in April last year when we demolished them

They had by far the better chances we played some pretty football but created next to nothing Wolves were set up perfectly to firstly nullify our attacks and secondly to want to score themselves,i reckon we just about deserved a point and where the squad stands at the moment I'll happily take that.
O'Neill has done a very good job with Wolves since we thrashed them last time around.

Last night highlighted Potter's challenge. In short Oneill has overtaken him as the most effective English manager having now done it at 2 top flight teams 2 years in a row..both with diminishing budgets (hence why smug eddie isnt even in the list)

They were organised, effective and are now unbeaten in 6 games

O'Neill will be a disaster. Did well at plucky, but was very much in his "comfort zone" there, already known and liked by the players. He will not wield much influence at Wolves, which is primarily why Lopetegui jacked it in when he wasn't getting what he wanted in terms of a budget. The owner gets a grateful 'happy to be there' yes-man in the dugout, the players get a 'Gary who ??'.

Good point. Pre game I was pleased that Hwang, Gomes, AitNouri were out. But the reality is that that gives them an excuse to be uberdefensive, whereas if their first choice are playing the game will be more open

He's really good. A second half tightening of the screw, forcing us into aimless flicks and overplay all mopped up by their defence, whilst they were great on the counter. It appeared to me that he also set traps e.g. both our CB's bizarrely drawn to the pitch near dugouts on several occasions, then attacking the vast space left behind.

This. Have those 3 up front constantly marking our back 3 man to man and surrounding anyone of them with the ball worked and forced us to long ball. Enjoyed his tactics last night, he is coming of age.

Have to disagree, when we had the ball they didn't just have their whole team in their half, they were all in their half of their own half.
