Typical north stand chat - polarised opinions, no objectivity - are we definately going down ? no, but likely. Are we staying up unlikely - but a possibility. For me I will not give up until after swindon - the next 2 games are winable and there is nothing unwinable in the last 5. Yes, we may be going down but too early to abandon all hope.

I had friends around on Saturday for dinner and when they all saw the table, they all said, your down. When I started talking about games in hand and mathmatical possibilitys they looked at me as if I was trying to convince them the world is flat.

I still have blind faith that some mythical end of season will happen (one I have had since Colchester at home on Boxing Day). Well is'nt that what Brighton always do, make every season one to play for.

I believe not even the happy pills will keep this dream alive if we draw or lose tommorow.

Two wins this week will put a completely different perspective on it.

This week is massive, 4 points minimum and we're still in with a shout. I look at Stockport who are in freefall on the last day and that's a gimme 3 points, if we can just stay in touch until those last couple of games then I am still of the belief we can do it.

And Stockport owe us thought this might come down to the old back scratching

Our only hope of staying up will be decided this coming week.

Wins against Hereford and Swindon will offer some help and give us a chance. Anything other than 2 wins and we are f*cked !!

Cannot see it happening though.

Admire your optimism, though still think we are doomed.

How's Lyme at the mo ? Down there again with the family in a few weeks for a long weekend.

Still relatively quiet, although I am braced for all the daytrippers this weekend as the town quadruples in size.
