Look at how many there are. The last day alone are 3 possible deciders.

With all these teams trying to nick points of each other, surely it's a good thing for us.

I for one, am certainly more confident now I've looked at this.

I'm also encouraged by the amount of games Leicester have in April - 8 games in 28 days - only need an injury or two and some suspensions

While all these teams are nicking points off each other, Albion will be getting beaten by the likes of Preston, West Ham and Ipswich.

ps Happy Birthday.

Cheers!

One thing that amazes me when I read opinions on the relegation battle is that so many people think Forest will not only stay up but do so comfortably.

Personally, I thought they looked awful when we hammered them 3-0 a while back, and they were stuffed 0-6 at Ipswich the other week so they obviously haven't improved a great deal. I reckon they are firm favourites to go down.

(By the way, we're rumoured to have signed midfielder Neal Ardley from Watford this morning. I don't know the full details yet, but the source is reliable.)

Hmm, Neil Ardley eh?

The thing with Forest is that as long as Commons keeps performing and scoring their goals then they will pick up points but they are prone to gettig smashed too. If they can go on a run in the next 3 games where they have beatable opposition then they will be well clear.

I can't see it though.

I've thought they'd stay up since I saw them at White Hart Lane last month ~ they were superb, Commons especially (although Spurs being crap probably also had something to do with it). However, they have a bit of a dodgy old defence which could let them down. I think they'll run it close, but the gap by which they were stranded at earlier in the season may prove just to much to overcome, not unlike us two years back.

Our signing of Ardley has apparently been confirmed. Signed until the end of the season. Not exactly a capture to set the pulses racing, but it does ease our midfield problems a little.

I think Forest's form will be very key to who goes down - they have their next 3 games against Crewe, Coventry and Plymouth. It would throw the mix up quite a lot if they were all wins to one of the sides rather than cagey draws. I guess if Forest win at least 1 of them, we would want them to win all of them. ie all or nothing I guess.
