Either those that live in remote parts of the UK or abroad, when was the last time you saw the Albion LIVE. I'm sure there are plenty of fans who haven't seen us play live for years.. poll to follow

I guess some who aren't that far away haven't been for years, especially if they couldn't get a ticket for a big Cup game :lolol:

Walsall away 07/08 Season...had a ticket for the last game of that season away at Bristol Rovers but sadly couldn't make it. After the shameful way the club treated Dean Wilkins I haven't felt at all inclined to watch the team play again, have turned from a loyal supporter into just a fan who watches out for the scores.

FOUR years ago.. sad isnt it...
When I thnk how depressed I used to get at the goldstone at the end of the last match of the season and facing a whole summer without seeing them...since then, ive gone Feyenoord, Molenbeek, Frankfurt, and now Viktoria Zizkov

Boxing day 2008, Colchester home Hinselwood OG, first trip since playoff final v Notts County. Hope to get to Falmer next season, but not the opening game of the season, all you lot who have suffered Withdean and Gillingham deserve to go to that one.

I've seen them this year, but I did have a big gap between games while living in NZ...

16th November 1985 - saw us beat Huddersfield 4-3 at the Goldstone.

through to

14th August 1999 - Beat Orient 2-1 at Brisbane Road.

Anyone have a longer gap between games?

[edit - just remembered I saw few homes games in 1996, so that's 11 years between games]

Mate, how does that work? Do share

Had to manage in many different ways over the years.

Including:

$3 a minute results service that used to be available here in the 80's-90's, quiet costly being an Albion fan and having to wait for the result if we were in a lower division.

A member of Seagulls Down Under. Run by a really nice guy (forget his name) who'd get a friend in Brighton to send him over clippings of matches from the Argus and he'd photo copy them and post em out to the few members we had.

That was around the time of th Nogan era.

Soccer Weekly was a publication here that would have small game reports on even lower league teams which was something to read and keep up with the tables,

Then fortunately the Internet came along and it made following the team so much easier.

I'm planning on getting to my first game some time in the next 5 years!

Always get to a few aways per season, last season Carlisle Tranmere and Villa. Last time i was at Withdean i think was When we won the league under Taylor.

I managed 11 games last season from Wales. I listened to the rest on internet radio.

Not ideal but better than nothing, I'll go more when we get the new stadium. A seven hour 400 mile round trip to watch football at Withdean doesn't appeal as much as it used to.
