My boys gave your boys one hell of a beating (excuse the slight over the topness, we don't win that often).

:lolol:

London Irish 6-9 Newcastle

London Irish (3) 6
Pens: Catt, Laidlaw
Newcastle (6) 9
Pens: Walder (3)

Dave Walder kicked three penalties as Newcastle pushed themselves further away from relegation trouble.

The Falcons fly-half traded a kick with Mike Catt in a tense first half at the Madejski Stadium.

And he landed further penalties in the 45th minute and again 10 minutes from time before Ross Laidlaw set up a tight finish with a 75th-minute effort.

The Exiles mounted a series of late attacks but two missed goal attempts from Laidlaw proved decisive.

My only consolation is that I went and saw Alison Goldfrapp and her 4 lovely near-naked dancers at Brixton instead of that shite

Must admit gutted with the result, fortunately I didn't go.
Its been a good season for LI, hope they don't mess it up.
Newcastle are a good team on their day.

It was my first, and probably last game of rugby. How dull, 3-0 at half time. The only enjoyable part was the Guinness which you can drink in your seats, and the Irish band playing next to the bar.
