My 14 year old is doing the London Friday Night Skate with a friend of mine has anyone done this before?

I know a fair few Lancing fishermen who like nothing better than a Friday night Skate.

I have never done it but i have seen it. It is a very bizarre thing to see when you walk out of a pub after a few beers and you suddenly see hundreds of people skate past. They play the music and evryone looks like they are having a fantastic time. And i was very impressed with the safety precautions.
