Why not get the bus - just as quick and cheaper

They are a big mini cab firm - not cowboys and based near Euston.

Our company uses them, cheaper than black cabs

Or the 73 bus runs between the stations, as for the tubes my girlfriend got home fine on the Northern Line tonight.

I walked home from the West End to Clapham, nice walk took about an hour but in retrospect I could have probably got the tube.

The buses were packed at rush hour.

Amazingly the Northern line is one of the ones still operating!! Usually it's the first one to have problems.

Easy - not run by Metronet

Getting a taxi from any London terminus tends to require a considerable amount of queuing.

Particularly on strike days. Last time I had to get a cab during a tube strike, I waited nearly an hour for a cab.

As Clapham Gull says, a bus is easy.
