ill wait for Harty or DTG to say they heard "substantial" but im pretty sure thats what I heard. I prefer to listen to what comes out of our chairmans mouth than whats printed in the argus.

Fantastic news i think.

At times he shows promise, but it would help if those morons who were on Hendersons back at Withdean didn't turn on him.

good goal against Stoke, he needs a bit more bulk, but he is cheap and a trier and god loves a trier

No it does not but he is a better player in the squad than Turenzo or Knight because he wants to be there. He trys and he can do the right thing

The exact words were healthy playing budget. Nothing more and nothing less.

I am also fairly confident that Knight said “substantial budget” on Hartys phone in and has certainly said “Healthy Budget” in the Argus. I would suggest that with either a substantial budget, or a healthy one Doug Loft would not have been retained, as Wilkins would have been confident of signing someone substantially better to replace him.

Do you honestly believe Loft has done anything to earn a new contract, I believe it is a sad indictment of the make up of the squad next year.

If you look further back in the thread I have already said I couldn't believe that Loft has been given another year, especially when Fish (P Hinshelwood) has been released.
