I am also fairly confident that Knight said “substantial budget” on Hartys phone in and has certainly said “Healthy Budget” in the Argus. I would suggest that with either a substantial budget, or a healthy one Doug Loft would not have been retained, as Wilkins would have been confident of signing someone substantially better to replace him.

Do you honestly believe Loft has done anything to earn a new contract, I believe it is a sad indictment of the make up of the squad next year.

If you look further back in the thread I have already said I couldn't believe that Loft has been given another year, especially when Fish (P Hinshelwood) has been released.
