Loan Window - what do you fancy?

Bearing in mind the usual players available for loan and the usual situation i.e. unfit inexperienced premiership youngsters (best of which probably been snapped up) those coming back from injury (so clearly not match fit) and those who wanted away in transfer window but couldn't find a move so probably only a loan till January, then you have the others.

Where do you want/need people? Do we need people at all?

My gut feeling is that we have 2 midfielders on loan, perhaps maybe a young striker on loan whose happy to come on for sub appearances if Davies isn't in the frame and Murray is on loan. I know there are still weaknesses and we shouldn't get wrapped up just because we won ... but I really hope we don't panic sign at all... I would say wait for one or two good loans - no position needs someone that urgently at the minute.

We have what we need now that people are getting back to fitness - I would say one more striker but not a loanee - we need to get one on perm in Jan.

Despite the collapse at Hudd, when all there, the defence look sound and I think Whingy might be getting back his mojo.

Midfield options all over the place, it's now a question of getting the balance right and letting them play together. I like seeing Coxy come off the bench.

Up front Liam is starting to get it and Fossie is a perennial goal scorer, but assuming sick-note won't feature (such a bloody shame), I think we're lacking some genuine class behind these two in the order.

i want a creative midfielder and a exprience left and right back and a exprienced centre half

There is no way we should or will get four loanees. Whing, with cover from El Abd, is adequate at right back. Centre half we have loads of options, it is probably our strongest position. I think the midfield will be okay once they have played together longer (was impressed by the Dicker/Crofts partnership and Davies and Bennett both look promising). As for left back, I imagine we would have got one in a few weeks ago if we were going to as both McNulty and Wright are back in training this week.

The only loanee I think they will be looking at is a striker to compete with Dickinson and Forster.

I dont think that we need any loans players if the existing players are in the right frame and tactically aware. If anything a versatile full back who can play left or right for a month.

We are adequately covered in central defence, Virgo, Elphick Tunnicliffe, and at a push Hawkins, midfield yesterdays line up plus Cox and Navarro and McLeod,or even Livermore, up front with Dickenson Forster Hart Davies and if he gets fit and stays until Christmas Murray.

A lot will depend on who we send out on loan as it has been suggested that Livermore Hawkins and possibly McLeod will be going on loan somewhere.

A right back, got no idea what has happened to Whing this season but looks a shadow of the player he was. Someone to push him for his place maybe he feels he can do what he wants because he is an automatic pick. Apart from that think we are pretty much covered in every position (having 2 left backs injured at the same time is pretty rare) could do with more quality but those sort of players aren't usually available and everyone is looking for them.

Do we really need anybody? We have four wingers now so we have cover when someone is injured and we also have four strikers plus "Monarch of the f*** wit Murray" who will hopefully go out on loan.

The middle of the park is adequately covered with Crofts, Dicker, Navarro and the underrated Livermore plus Virgo and El-Abd can cover while I am sure Cox and Hart could also "DO A JOB".

The defense is where Slade wanted to strengthen but again we don't really need anyone. We have two top keepers and two top youth keepers, Walker and Pelling, to boot. We haven't actually started are "STRONGEST" defense yet of...
Whing Elphick Virgo Mcnulty, which looks rather good and we have the ever impressive Tunnicliffe and the more than capable El-Abd and Wright, not to mention Sir Hawk.

I have been positive about this squad right from the very start and I would bet my House that we win on Saturday and what a season turning win it would be.

UP THE ALBION!!!!!!!!!!!!
