Lloyd Owusu kicks mud in the face of Ince

Having been in the East Midlands on busines, I thought the opportunity was too good, so I pitched up at Walsall this evening. Shambolic defending - its a long time since one player wass responsible for three goals in one half - and no passion. in 45 minutes, we saw everything we have detested about this dreadful, awful season.

Clayton Ince, the Walsall keeper was a really good sport in the second half. Banter with us and applauded us at both ends of the half.

What he could have done without though was Owusu kicking mud in his face when he was on the ground having taken the ball - yet again - from his feet. Owusu deliberateely kicked mud into his face. and Ince turned to us and basically asked if we saw it. If that is the way Owusu behaves, we are better off without him.

Glen Thomas at Brentford (although he was only responsible for 2, but possibly the worst 10 mins of defending by one player I have ever seen, and was prompty removed from the field for his own safety!)

Owusu also attempted to head-butt the ball out of Ince's hands and the ref ran all the way over and gave him a very stern talking to - some say Ince only had one hand on the ball and thus this would have been quite legitimate - did anyone else see / confirm?

I thought he had two hands on the ball. It seemed a bit pointless

I saw that, I was sat right behind the goal. Clayton Ince is one of the good guys and didn't deserve that. Owusu needs to grow up:tosser:

he had one hand on it, but he was just holding the ball under complete control.

Davies was the same, Ince was just about to do a throw out to the left back, and Davies jumped in from behind ince and tried to kick the ball out his hand as he threw it

Ince to be fair, gave us a round of applause at the end of the game, but he wasnt accepting bribes from our fans to let in a goal

I'd forgotten him. That was a truly dreadful display, wasn't it? I think my mind had blotted that out ...
