If you want to win at Anfield you have to turn that first half domination into a two goal lead.
Easier said than done.
The boys generally did us proud today.
Yes, felt that we let them off lightly by only being 1-0 up at HT. once they equalised we were always going to be up against it.

No mention of the poor refereeing today

They stuck to the football, as did Hurzeler post match. If they catered for every whinging fanbase, MOTD would be dominated by Arsenal, Albion and Forest fans eternal gripes.

I really enjoyed our performance today. We were never going to dominate an excellent Liverpool side for 90 minutes.
I’m actually really encouraged by this week to be honest. We look very close to being a very top team.
My only frustration in both games v Liverpool has been our players inability to show a winger the line… we are after all taught this at a very young age. Do this correctly and 3 of their 5 goals wouldn’t have happened.
Happy fan here though
It’s easier said than done. Salah is head and shoulders the best in the world at that sort of goal. He was tamed for most of the game.

Just got back. I thought it was a terrific game and that we played really well. We should have gone into the break two or three up. Second half Liverpool and the rest of Anfield turned up and they got their reward for a dominant opening 20 minutes. Once went behind I thought we responded well and continued to make a game of it.
Frustrated we did not get any reward for our play but was pleased that Hurzeler was equally frustrated, a good attitude that should hopefully see us push on.

Just got back. Shambles detour for the shut M25 (this one didn’t get publicised that well?).
Actually came away disappointed we didn’t get a result. Often I feel frustrated we could have done more but genuinely feel we couldn’t have done much more to be honest.

Excellent MOTD analysis from Joe Hart, I didn’t realise he knew his outfield onions. Highlighting the intensity, the sprints of Albion first half, defensive closing down. Ferdi and Estupinan were tired come the last half hour from that, Liverpool upped their game in playing with intensity. He felt Estupinan was running on empty when Salah turned him.
I think he's right, Hürzball takes its toll. We've seen it in other games too. Ferguson got some sticks a couple of games ago, for not creating any chanses but he had spent the whole game closing down, and worked his sock off, knackered at 60 mins. It's part of the game. Subs on around 60 mins would be fine I think, strong bench this year.

I'd be tempted to email the club with the seat numbers - however they ended up with the tickets, it's very wrong.
Yup and these wankers who decide to pass these tickets on, impact on every other genuine Brighton fan with ID checks etc. They'll also get the points for doing so. I actually feel more angry at the 'Brighton fans' who feed these plastic idiots.

One of defeats where you feel better in the way home because you know the team put in a real performance. The Liverpool fans on the train home were super complimentary an out us and knew they’d been in a real battle.
