TEAM NEWS

Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson remains sidelined with the knee injury he suffered three weeks ago.

Ibrahima Konate could return after two months out with a similar problem.

Curtis Jones may also be available but this game will come too soon for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita.

Brighton midfielder Enock Mwepu was hospitalised with illness while on international duty with Zambia and will not feature after returning to England for tests.

Tariq Lamptey is another doubt after reports of an unspecified training injury while with Ghana.

Brighton factually.....
A Monumental day for De Zerbi being the first Italian in charge of Brighton since Darby Sabini.

Come on Albion, we can do this…

Potter who ?

The big question here is HOW is Darren Cann “additional VAR”? Widely considered the best linesman of all time in refereeing circles.

got a funny feeling about this one....

De Zerbi - instant legend or WTF have you done TB?

As an aside his English seems to have come on well in just a few days, but he seems to have got frustrated at expressing himself and moved on to Italian

True, but watching his press conference again, there is an air of smirky confidence about him, which I find endearing.

One thing is for certain he will be more animated and interesting in interviews than “Graham”

Let’s see eh.

Great news that games are back full stop.

Free hit but have got a feeling wheel win, Roberto will over celebrate much to the annoyance of Klopp who will brand him unprofessional on MOTD

At the end of my tether
Match day at last, it’s been a long time coming. De Zerbi has had time with the players who were here all the time but much less so with on International duty , some of whom played in the week. However, we press on ….
I am not expecting anything from this fixture, I think the odds are against us , given all the circumstances. In a way it is a great game for him to start because nobody will expect us to win. . Whatever we get will be a bonus.. :albion2:

We will lose this by 3-4. No reflection on De Zerbi. We are just going to be battered.
