BBC says Gerrard to stay

BBC says Liverpool could be set to announce Gerrard is staying.

In other words, they don't yet know.

From Sky Sports News:

German giants Bayern Munich have revealed that they will allow England international Owen Hargreaves to leave the club - with Liverpool thought to be interested in signing him.
Hargreaves played in three of England's four games in Euro 2004, with all of his appearances coming from the substitutes' bench

Could be Gerrard leaves and they get Owen to replace him.

Steven Gerrard has today quashed all speculation linking him with a move away from Anfield by pledging his future to Liverpool Football Club.
The news will come as a huge relief to Liverpudlians everywhere who feared the club was set to lose the services of their highly influential captain.

Gerrard was the Reds undoubted player of the season in 2003/04 and is widely regarded as one of the best midfield players in Europe.
