Livermore needs to learn how to TACKLE!

Ok, so I thought is sending off against Luton was harsh. But is he now just having a laugh at officials by LUNGING for every tackle he goes in for? Seriously one of the coaches needs to pull him up on this if he is to play a role in the squad for the rest of the season. We could really do without having men sent off at ANY time, let alone in the middle of a relegation battle.

Don't get me wrong, I like to see pride and passion in the stripes, but in this day and age you simply CANNOT fly into challenges the way he does. Every time he made a challenge yesterday my heart was in my mouth. He doesn't slide anymore, he actually JUMPS with both feet off the ground! If he mis-times one of these he will be shown a straight red, I'm pretty sure of it.

I didn't BLAME him for anything!

I'm just warning of what is going to happen if he doesn't calm down. Or do you want us to play with 10 men on a regular basis?

I couldn't agree more, he needs to stop giving the referees a chance to send him off, because more often than not they'll take that chance and he'll be gone! At the very least we need to have a full compliment out there.

What an impact Livermore made when coming on. The whole of East Stand whinced in horror in how close he was in amptitating both legs of that Orient right back.
Livermore needs to have a watch The Andrew Whing School of hard tackling. He throw in a couple of lovley reducers yesterday - especially the dead leg on the Orient winger in the 2nd half.

Although I think his tackling technique is actually getting worse. So maybe that record will look even worse in time, if the problem is not stamped out.
