Today - Exeter v Morecambe

Next week - Rep. of Ireland

Wonder if they're just doing this because Richard Branson is being a tight shit and won't pay for the channels that most people watch.

not really all the other channels have stuff on, games not big enough to override all the live stuff on at moment

Sky are actually getting good figures for that, so they've given it more coverage.

I dunno who is watching it, but enough people are enthralled enough to sit watching boats for hours on end!!!!

Why should Sky have the monopoly and double the price whenever they feel like it?

What have they doubled the price of? The reason they have the monopoly is because they provide the customer with what they want and pay the most for the rights.

Supplying Sky programmes to Virgin.
There is a monopolies commission in this country to prevent that sort of business.

That's pissed me off actually. Bloody SKY. They have NEVER put live football on SSN before. Once again the customer loses when two multimillion pound companies squabble like schoolchildren.

F*ck it I'm going to ask VIRGIN for free stuff.

sky have put football on SSN before and before that they used to put it in on Sky one, its not some big conspiracy its down to the fact they have run out of channels.

Live test cricket on ss1 which I assume would have been the preferred channel for the conference play off final.

maybe not but sky have the rights to it so they are going to put it on. It goes on for far longer than a football match and so makes sense to put that on a channel and put the 2 hour football on SSN to avoid affecting it more than necessary
