Agree the lad doesn't look 16 but imagine the trolling and abuse he's getting online for it, plus his 21 year old girlfriend. I hope he doesn't do a Raducanu tbf. Bookies take big hits when favourites win, not big outsiders. There will be some headline good news stories (500/1 winners and the like) but their exposure likely to be much larger on LH.

I get frustrated watching darts, why don’t they hit exactly what they want every time?

The dart board stays in the same place, the darts are the same, their arm is the same, there is no rain.

I guess it's because they're not actual robots, though the way they consistently hit T20 and their doubles is robotic at times.

It’s sports news. Some of us like to watch stuff that’s not about people killing each other or others whining about the Government. I’ve just seen his most recent interview. He is a very self assured and humble young man, not an ‘obese child.’ No histrionics and always a quiet word with those he beats. A very good role model in fact and far better in that regard than most footballers who get wall to wall tv coverage.

I've long said that even at my age (53) I still believe if someone paid me to do nothing but play darts for a year it's probably the only sport I could turn pro at.

But could you do THIS in a major final with tens of thousands of pounds at stake and an entire airport hanger full of pissed up lads dressed as pencils screaming at you? Still one of the greatest moments in any sports IMO.



Reminds me of the lads near me on the train home last night who were having a 'heated debate' about how hard a nine darter is. Answer - almost everyone on this board would struggle to hit one single 180 in the pub with no one watching. They then went on to debate that 'anyone should be able to take a penalty' to which, with expert timing, the oldest bloke with them replied 'Solly March can't'.
