Seaford Town FC Juniors Disabilities Team travelled to the Chelsea FC Training Centre in Cobham Surrey yesterday to take part in the largest Pan Disabilities event in the UK.
After wins against Chelsea, Arsenal and Middlesborough Foundation sides In the group stages Seaford progressed to the knockout stages. There they faced the winners and runners up of the other group events that had featured Bournemouth, Stoke City and Norwich amongst others.
Good wins in the quarter and semi finals saw Seaford face a very strong Watford side in the final. Against all the odds little Seaford Town were unstoppable and won 2–0 to become champions.
Each of these players have worked so hard over the last few seasons under the guidance of coach Mark. They play with smiles on their faces and great heart as a team overcoming personal challenges. Your club is very proud of you all.
SYFC Disabilities group would like to thank our hosts Chelsea FC for their wonderful hospitality to our players and coaches including a good lunch.
For more information on the event visit the Chelsea FC website. Please also visit the Seaford Town FC Facebook page.

Not the Albion I know but what the hell most of them are Seagulls

That’s a happy story (told by a very proud parent/coach/other?). Well done!

Fantastic effort from a small town, when you look at the more well known footballing towns.
Well done Seaford.

Great news.

I have no connections with Seaford town or the club, but that’s a wonderful story and everyone linked to the club should be exceedingly proud. Well done.
