Little icons/pictures.

Sorry for the silly off topic post, but I figured with the wealth of knowledge here someone would have the answer to a question Paddy was meant to answer about a month ago.

On webpages that I go to out of my favourites list, such as here, (I use Firefox and the pages open in tabs) a little picture is up there in the tab alongside the name for each page. On NSC it's the V bulletin logo, on other websites it is different - Hotmail has the MSN flag thing, Google that G letter etc.

What are those little pictures called?

The reason I am asking is because I have a new laptop and while I have all the little pictures on this desktop, I do not have them on my laptop and I would like them!

Think you will find they are called favicons. Not sure how you turn them on though.

Thanks, according to what I found it seems those are turned on in Firefox on the laptop but still no icons.

Oh well.

I have them on Firefox.... except for some reason I don't get one for NSC anymore, just a pic of a blank page...
