Crawleys all right its not the worse place in the country. Its not a shithole. Sadly though there are some idiots (not all Crawley people) that live in the town. But in the long term I want to live somewhere more laid back and quiet, and nearer Brighton. I quite like theMid-Sussex area as I went to school there for 9 years. I still keep an eye out for Crawley Town FC results like I always will.

Falmer
Lindfield is nice. It is walkable from HH station (the main station in Sussex) and there are a fair few decent pubs there (although they have ruined The Red Lion). It is very pretty and there are lots of big green areas. There aren't too many pikeys and it is near to a good school.

I don't think there is a cashpoint there though.

Sussex places I HAVE lived in:-

Kemp Town (Burlington Street)
Hove (Osborne Villas)
Brighton (Old Steine)
Telscombe Village
Hove (Osmond Road)
Brighton (Stanford Road)
Brighton (Herbert Road)
Brighton (West Hill Road)
Lewes (Cliffe High Street)
Firle

All of them delightful.

shoreham by sea.

end of innit

well said that man

some good pubs, good restaurants, good facilities, the downs, a beach, a river, great flyover for hooning round in the car

the only down side is the quick-e-stop by the station and the pikey shysters from Shythawk and moulscumb shipped in by B&H council that frequent the place . . . .and a police station thats only open part time so nothing gets done about the trouble they cause.
