Although in the grand scheme of things we are not too heartbroken about the result, what is worrying is that we scored one goal against a National League team when a couple of days previously Barrow had put three past them. Plus we had our top goal scorer on the pitch. It was a poor performance for a top of the Championship squad against a fifth tier club.

That says everything about the distraction of the FA Cup. Barrow bullied Lincoln and by all accounts Lincoln were not as "committed" in the tackle as they usually are. On Saturday Lincoln we bang up for it and the Albion were not as "committed" when 50/50s were on offer (and yes I did watch the whole game). It's shit to lose a game but I'd rather be hammered 6-0 by Lincoln in the FA Cup and win 1-0 on Thursday against Huddersfield when we are possibly only 3-4 months from promotion to the top flight.
