Reasons to be cheerful...

1. I'm off work until Saturday.
2. It's snowing.
3. I'm cooking Chicken Tikka Masala for tea tonight.
4. I'm still in bed.
5. I'm off to Fazenda (Brazilian meat restaurant in Leeds) tomorrow night with 12 friends for my birthday tea and drinks...
6. We're probably going to make the play offs and maybe even a day at Wembley looms.
7. I've sold my house and will be moving out of Bradford within 4-6 weeks!!

Life's good sometimes...

1) I'm off from today until Tuesday

Yesterday:

1. Failed a financial exam (by 2 marks).
2. Was meant to pick up new car, not ready.
3. Was meant to get some money for scrappage on old car, nothing doing.

Life sucks sometimes...

Lifes good - sold our house as well

Life sucks - there is absolutely nothing on the market where we (well Mrs P really) want to buy

Lifes good - our buyers seem very patient as we accepted their offer nearly 2 months ago and the still haven't pulled out

We're thinking of moving into rented for a bit, save a bit more to up our deposit and be 'no chain' buyers...

Our buyer did offer us an extra £5K to get out quickly, but we're in the process of downsizing, and we want to port our current mortgage, so we don't want to rent at all as it would take a big chunk out of the profit we're going to make.

Where you moving to? Sussex?

I'd love to, still got majority of family down there, mainly Horsham and surrounding, but if moving back i'd want to be in or very near to Brighton itself, but its a bit pricey to say the least!! That said, the Mrs and I both have our jobs, friends and lives up here, we're moving to Saddleworth area. Can be bleak in the winter, but it's beautiful when the sun shines...

(2) I spunked half my salary last Friday night on some TAT
(3) I've just been told I spent the marketing budget until the end of June because someone didn't tell me the budgets had been cut in December.

Saddleworth is fantastic - which part? I have family up there - in Diggle?

We're still looking, Diggle, Dobcross, Lydgate or Delph are our favourite destinations. All lovely places and when it shows you have a food chance of being cut off from the world for a bit so you can enjoy one of the many fine pubs in the area..! If you get the chance go to the Navigation in Dobcross (just on border with Diggle) fantastic, well priced pub grub!

The only downside is that it's in LANCASHIRE!
