Dunk and Caicedo absolutely no question. Mitoma probably started the season too late and is up against Grealish, Martinelli and Rashford. But yeah, all three should be there or there abouts. Pervis too. I've not seen a better left back this season.

Grealish is all fur coat and no knickers. 3 goals and 4 assists from 21 matches playing for the best team in the league.

Well right now in the PL I'm mostly following Brighton so I haven't really seen many full matches of other defenders, but he definitely seems more comfortable with the ball compared to the likes of Maguire or even Dier, and I don't think he's any worse in tackles/interceptions. Only thing I'm not 100% sure about sometimes is his defensive positioning, but that's probably because as a team you don't really have a tried & trusted low-block defensive structure.

He's definitely fit to be in the England squad, just like Tomori was last year. One thing we should keep in mind though is that oftentimes some players work perfectly in a certain well-oiled system that they understand well, but you take them out of it and they underperform. He has some genuine top class individual abilities but I doubt he'd do as well for England as he does for Brighton, with the way your national team plays.

I'd really be curious to see him play for your national side (mostly because he's still relatively unknown internationally) in some non-friendly matches, and I'm sure he'd appreciate the belated recognition.

And there's the truth. From CH, through GP and onto RDZ, he has done absolutely everything that very manager has ever asked of him and way way beyond. And that was after a good few years doing it at lower levels.

I was thinking about this last night. Dunk Caicedo and Mitoma should, without question, be in the EPL team of the year but I doubt that Dunk will get the votes required for "big club bias" reasons.

Definitely. It's all bollocks. Mac has a better chance than Moises because he is Messi's best buddy. It's all about personalites, a couple of the big clubs, which boots you wear, hype etc.

Nice his respect for Potter but his compliments for RDZ speak volumes. Criminally skipped over by that moron Southgate.

Nice to see such a humble guy without all the face scrawlings and covered in Dunce & Gobbalot bling or £2k trainers looking like a tit, setting the example for others. Interesting that both him and David Weir in his Monday interview talk about bringing in the right kind of players to fit the clubs style and mentality. The fabled No Dickhead Policy is a fact.

What a player!

One of the most underrated players of all time IMO.

Genuinely think he is elite/world class now. One of the best central defenders in the world.

If Chelsea had any common sense whatsoever, they would have tried to sign Dunky for £115m rather than Caicedo, because he'd be worth every penny.

Fortunately for us though, he remains underrated. Hopefully he'll stick around for the rest of his career.

What an absolute privilege it has been to watch almost every one of Dunks career home matches. He came into the first team about when I first bought a season ticket. I remember watching him train with the other subs at half time in the days when he wasn't a starter, and laughing at how much more skillful he was than the midfielders and forwards of the time. To watch him learn, achieve such success, grow into a truly world class defender, and now become a leader and teacher to the next generation (Colwill, JPVH, Hinch) has been an absolute highlight of my Albion supporting life.

I struggle to think of many players in the modern game that better epitomise the word 'legend'.
