Would much rather he didn't go, likewise most of the squad. Would be much better to make sure they all get a good rest and recovery after this season, especially with all the injuries. A bigger load over the summer is not what we need.

I couldn't disagree with you more.

Dunky has given us enough that if he has a chance of chasing international glory, he should go with our wholehearted support.

You really don’t get the importance of International Football, do you?

If you want what is best for Lewis Dunk, you want him in the England team. It would mean so much to him, and to the people of Sussex, if he were there.

The same goes for all of our players who have a chance of playing in the Euros.

Watch Southgate drop him now after a bad game or two. His place is very much in doubt now I'd venture.

Unfortunately he saved his worst performance in ages for the biggest stage
Which unfortunately he does tend to do. I’ve been an advocate for Dunk in England squads but I’m still not convinced I’d want him playing at a major tournament

No. He’s not part of the establishment. Should have 20-30 caps but hasn’t. Joins a long list of managers non-favs that includes far greater ability players other England managers didn’t fancy either.

He’s not in good form but De Zerbi has hinted he’s got some niggles, mention of not being able to play the full 90 twice a week at the moment. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him either rested or only play 60 mins Sunday. Also think if he’s called up he’ll be withdrawn from the squad through injury. Would probably be the end of his Euro hopes but would be good for us as he needs a rest and this is a chance for him to get some rest in.

Was going to say the same thing. I suspect he and Pervis are not really fit
